My mission this month.

If you’re up for it, over the next two weeks I’m going to be getting rid of 100 things.  Things we don’t need or want, weigh us down.  If you’re joining the rules are simple.  Take two weeks and get rid of 100 items.  If you find it is more, great, if it’s less you are a big old failure.  No, I’m kidding.  But it must be 100 things. If you get carried away, you can do it in a day, but it must be done in two weeks.  You can donate, sell or toss the things you don’t need; make plans to do a Goodwill run and stick to that date. Today I’m starting on my closet which is full of clothes I don’t need, so much so that I can’t find the things I actually like and want to wear.

  1. I’m soooo excited about this. I’ve even made a special rule for the event: no repurposing. I often find something that *could* be turned into something else, that I then hang onto because I should really make into a more useful, free, awesome thing.

    But I don’t.

So. Donate, dump, recycle, give…but do not repurpose.

I have forgotten about this lovely idea. I think my mom will be shocked when she sees me getting rid of things…I am one of those that collects and hardly every gets rid of! lol.

    Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!
