Chain necklaces, especially when plastic are light around your neck and can add a burst of color to an outfit.
I really love all the chunky necklaces and accessories that are so in this Spring. Bracelets are piled on, necklaces are colorful and substantial. One of the trends I really like are the resin chain necklaces, like the ones above. Chain necklaces are both modern and slightly retro. Check out Megan Draper from Mad Men below. I love the Tory Burch ones but have no desire to shell out $195 for one of hers, so of course I was on a quest to get a cheaper version.

If you know me, you know that I get a lot of my accessories cheap – at Target, Forever 21, sometimes Aldo or H&M. I found these chain necklaces at Target. They’re light weight, can be worn long or looped and come in several punchy colors. I got the coral and the emerald but they had a blue and an ivory that were great too. And for $10, you can’t really beat it.
