I am slowly adding things to my closet after the great closet clean-out. It’s a lot harder than I thought. I’ve bought a couple of shirts, which I find easier to buy than pants, which are tougher to nail when it comes to fit.

These henleys from Free People are really nice – they’re comfortable and they wash well.  I got the two below.  What’s great is that they are casual but aren’t plain and are very flattering since they tuck in at the waist and flare out slightly.  I got a white one with crochet detailing on the sleeves and a pink one with some similar detailing at the front. You can find the crochet one here, at Karmaloop, one of my favorite sites for Free People stuff.

The pink one is surprisingly versatile despite the bright color, I wear it like the photo above, with black skinnies. It’s a very flattering cut and has a good length – you can wear it tucked or untucked and it still looks great.

The fit and flare cut of the shirt creates slims the waist and is long enough to cover yoga pants. img: 6pm.com

The one above is actually on sale at the moment at 6pm.com, a great site owned by Zappos (mostly their clearance and sale items).
